I put this on my own timeline yesterday …

I thought I’d write a cento this morning. A cento is a two line poem made up of a line from each of two other poems and they can make sense or not.
I wanted my cento to reflect the strange times we’re currently living in because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Here is my cento:

Eye of newt and toe of frog,
And life no longer what it was.
.
Line 1 is from William Shakespeare’s “Double, double toil and trouble.
Line 2 is from a poem by Louis Macneice called Meeting Point.
